This house was created from a vision that blends modern architecture with Japanese design principles and a deep commitment to sustainability and social responsibility. The project's unique approach earned it the 'Ot HaItzuv' (Design Award) for 2017, in the category of design considering environmental and sustainability issues.

The architectural design was based on a clear concept of division: the house was built in two parts, separated by a long, narrow patio that acts as a connecting thread, bringing natural light and visual interest to the center of the home and allowing views through the different parts of the house. This approach created a sense of an open, flexible, loft-like space, allowing for a seamless flow between the different living areas. In the spirit of Japanese design, partitions were used to allow for flexibility and partial separation of the space without compromising the feeling of openness.

The two entrances to the house are transparent doors, emphasizing the openness and connection between the interior and its surroundings. This approach, along with the choice of materials and construction solutions, was based on principles of energy efficiency and the use of local, sustainable materials.

The project represents a design that is not only aesthetic but also responsible, demonstrating how it is possible to create a high-quality living environment while upholding ecological and social values. This is an expression of our studio's holistic approach, which combines creativity and innovation with environmental and social responsibility, providing innovative design solutions.
